House Rules
In
order to be part of the game, you must be 18 years old or older. Due to
the graphic nature of the game, we do not want nasty calls from parents
complaining we have corrupted their son or daughter. |
The
Director must approve all Personas and a copy of their starting
Persona sheet will be kept on file, and updated at the end of every month. |
There will be a sign-in sheet at all
Episodes and functions,
and you must sign in to gain experience for that session or event. |
Weapons
will be written out on note cards and real ones will not be carried at
all. |
Exotic
weapons (C4, a shotgun with specialty ammunition, assault shotguns, rifles,
etc) must be approved by the Director to be official. Please remember, we're
trying to tell a Story here, and blowing stuff up only tends to end
stories rather than enhance or start new ones. |
For
all combat and major contests the Director or a Stage Managers
must be present. If you are uncertain about a power, an Attribute, a
Skill or Contest or the use thereof, you can request and
should get a Stage Manager or the Director. |
This
is a game. If your performance is going to be hampered because you have some
personal non-game-related problem with another player, keep it on your own
time and out of our game. I don't care if they shit in your sandbox-bring
your personal crap into game and expect to be kicked out. This goes along
with "No physical fights in game". We have no problem kicking you out of the
game should you endanger anyone with your actions. |
Touching: Only friendly touching is allowable, i.e. a pat on the
back, a tap on the shoulder, or a handshake. No grabbing the person and
putting them in a headlock or staking someone for example. Mimicking out
fights is up to the individuals involved and all parties must agree. If
you are not certain ASK. |
All
of the Staff are of one mind. For example, let's say Bob has a rules
question and goes to Ted for a call on it. Ted gives Bob a decision that Bob
doesn't like. Bob cannot go to Bill or Frank to get something better. What
one member of the Staff says goes. The only exception is if it's a game
mechanics issue, and you still have to go through the Stage Manager to the
Director, if the
situation warrants it. Don't even think that dividing us on rules calls will
empower your character in any way, shape or form. |
The safe word for situations where you feel uncomfortable is OMEGA.
When the safe word is used, move away from the individual and inquire
about their wellbeing. |
Cheating: Changing your
Persona sheet
without permission (adding ANYTHING without asking first.),
adding experience, taking experience for a Episode in which you
did not participate, and the like which is determined by the Stage Manager
and the Director. |
I will refrain from the use of Cursed Knowledge. (Cursed Knowledge: Information
that a Actor may have obtained out of game that their Persona could not normally
obtain through the course of regular RP, that could drastically affect
the decisions that a Actor makes for their Persona within the confines
of the Game Universe). |
MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN |
